Teacher Gift 2012
Here is the end of year gift I made for Jackson's teacher. She has been a great influence on Jack and worked so hard for him this year. The red frame was my gift for Ilana's teacher. I think they turned out really well. I have come to think that the frames with lots of different paper squares are my favorite crafts to make now.
Easter Wreath
I made an Easter Wreath for my Aunt out of paper strips. I found a great tutorial on it HERE. I did have trouble getting the paper to curl. With the first paper wreath I made, I found that the pins were coming out a little. So with this wreath, I dipped the pins in glue. I think that worked better.
Family Photo Frame
My sister saw the frame I did for a friends wedding and loved it. So she asked me to make one for her family. She picked out a pad of papers that all matched and I think it turned out really well. I made the black photo scallop squares out of magnet. This way, as the kids grow older, she can print off new photos, put a magnet on the back and replace the old photos easily.
This is the towel I made for her for Mother's Day. Just added a strip of cute fabric, very simple but cute I think.
